Sarwaran Students Make Kindness Board

Sarwaran Students Make Kindness Board

On October 19, 2016, students in grades 5 to 9 at Sarwaran International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, created a kindness board at the school.

The students were given colorful pieces of paper and asked to trace their hands and cut them out. Afterwards the students wrote inspirational quotes about kindness and positive thinking on their hand cut-outs and hung them up in the school hallway during their free periods, art, and SLO® period.

The purpose of this activity was to inspire students to be kind and the best version of themselves. Most importantly it was to promote team work, respect, and anti-bullying. “I think this was an amazing theme and really inspired the students,” said a teacher.
