ARABIC COMPETITION IN SARWARAN

Students in grades 10 and 11 in Sarwaran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, participated in an Arabic competition on December 19, 2019.

The competition was organized by the SLO^® Academic Department and involved students competing in groups of five. Once the students were divided they were asked questions about the Arabic language, sports, scientific information, and proverbs all held in Arabic. The winners of the competition were the Grade 10 students who were rewarded with gifts.

The purpose of the activity was for students to practice their second language in an enjoyable way. “It was a nice competition, and it was beneficial for me,” said a student.
