Debate Club in Erbil International Book Fair

Sarwaran International School Debate Club students (grades 8 & 9) participated in a live debate at this year’s Erbil International Book Fair. The audience, made up mainly of publishers and authors, were extremely impressed with the students’ public speaking skills and their ability to debate 2 separate topics. Media and TV broadcasters at the event were equally impressed, and requested to interview the students!  “We are very proud of our children who spoke so eloquently and elegantly,” said one parent. A member of the audience was equally impressed and commented: “We are very glad to see such talented students.

They are so well educated and knowledgeable.”
