FIRST DAY BACK FOR SARWARAN STUDENTS
On September 2, 2018, all students in Sarwaran International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, were welcomed back to school after the summer vacation.
Together with teachers, prefects welcomed all students and parents back ensuring they felt comfortable with their new surroundings. The entrance of the school was decorated with balloons and welcome back boards to encourage the students on their first day. Parents also had the opportunity to take pictures with their children using a welcome back to school frame to keep as a souvenir.
The purpose of the activity was to welcome back students with a positive start to the new year. Parents left relieved and assured that their children will be in good hands, and will be given a great support system for the academic year ahead. “Thank you for helping my child on the first day because it was difficult coming back summer break,” said a parent.
