FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR SARWARAN STUDENTS

On Sunday, September 1, 2019, teachers at Sarwaran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, welcomed  students to their first days of school.

Students were warmly greeted as they entered school and guided to their new classrooms. By lunchtime, the students and teachers decorated “welcome to school” posters. As a first activity back, a decorated picture was taken of all the students and balloons were hung throughout the school!

The first day of school was very successful at Sarwaran and the effort made by the teachers and SABIS Student Life Organization^®(SLO^®) was highly appreciated by the students. “Thank you for the hard work to make this day a successful one for us, it was difficult coming back after summer break,” said a student.
