Kurdish Clothes Day Celebrated at Sarwaran International School
Students from KG 1 to Grade 8 in Sarwaran International School, a SABIS® PPP school, celebrated the Kurdish Traditional Clothes Day on March 13, 2016.
The students were asked to come to school wearing Kurdish traditional clothing on the day of the event. The celebration was filled with dancing and singing activities, and students took many pictures alone and with their friends and teachers.
The purpose of this activity was to give students the opportunity to celebrate an important day in Kurdish culture. The students enjoyed the day very much. “It was a great day, especially since everyone was wearing their traditional clothes, even the staff,” said a student.
