Sarwaran Enjoys a Memorable First Day of School

On September 3, 2017, students at Sarwaran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, started their first day of school the 2017-18 academic year.

On the first day of school, the SABIS Student Life Organization^®’s (SLO^®) Activities Department went the extra mile to decorate the school and make this day an event for all to remember. There was a welcome board to inspire students as they walked through the doors, a decorative frame to help make their first day of school photos more memorable, and balloons hung all around the school.

The purpose of this event was to create a welcoming environment at the school and help any students or teachers who were nervous about their first day at school feel more at ease. Students, teachers, and staff really enjoyed the effort put forth by the SLO^®. “Thank you for your hard work and for making this day a great one for all of us,” said a student.
