Sarwaran Performs Lower School Spring Concert
On April 30, 2018, students in grades 2, 3, and 4 in Sarwaran International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, performed their annual Spring Concert.
This year, the Spring Concert theme was accountability, and all student performances were related to this theme. For example, some students in Grade 2 performed a show titled “Be Responsible,” and great 3 did a show titles, “The Leader in Me.” The students happily performed as they wanted to relay the message of accountability through the show to their parents and Kurdish community.
The purpose of these concerts is to teach students the skills they need to confidently perform on stage, and to be comfortable in doing so. It is also a fun way to celebrate the students and all their hard work. “I really enjoyed the concert and seeing my child and his friends on stage was wonderful,” said a parent.
