Sarwaran SLO^® Prefects Design Birthday Corner

Prefects in the Outreach Department of the SABIS Student Life Organization^® (SLO^®) at Sarwaran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, created a Birthday Corner on October 19, 2017, for all students at the school to celebrate their birthdays.

The Birthday Corner is a designated corner at the school for the students to enjoy their special day. At the corner, the birthday student is invited by the prefects and handed sentimental birthday cards with best wishes for them in the coming year.

The purpose of this event is to celebrate the students and make them feel that they are part of a community that cares for them. The feedback was positive from students who were happy to be made special on their birthdays. “I am very happy today because my school remembered my birthday!” said a student.
