SARWARAN STUDENTS CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE

On September 20, 2018, prefects from the SLO^® activities department in Sarwaran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan marked the International Day of Peace with an awareness campaign at the school.

To mark this day, prefects decorated the school and designed a board with information about Peace Day. During lunch break, the prefects handed out white balloons to the students and a small picture of a dove to spread awareness to the students and released two doves, which are a symbol of peace.

The purpose of this activity was to spread the ideals of peace to the students in Sarwaran and encourage a harmonious and nurturing environment at the school. “Thank you for your hard work and for spreading peace in the school,” said a student.
