Sarwaran Students Earn Certificates for Excellent Averages

On December 22, 2016, students in grade 1-9 at Sarwaran International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, received academic certificates for having excellent overall averages.

During lunch time, students who earned an average of 90 and above lined up to receive their Academic Achievement Award in front of the Director, AQCs, SLC, AC, and others. The SLO® Academic Department prefects and head of the Academic Department gave the students their awards and even gave special science medals to students who scored 90 and above in science.

The purpose of these certificates was to provide continuous motivation to students that are doing well in their classes, and to push other students to do well in the next term. “We were really happy with certificates and medals it make us to keep trying,” said a student.
