Sarwaran Students Lend a Hand with My City Clean & Green Project

On November 4, 2017, Grade 8 students in Sarwaran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, lent a hand in the My City Clean and Green initiative.

The My City Clean and Green campaign is an awareness campaign designed to shed light on the importance of maintaining a clean city and preserving nature in the city. It was started by alumni association of the International School of Choueifat – Erbil, a private SABIS^® school in Kurdistan.

Students from Sarwaran International School and Fakhir Mergassori International School, another SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, worked together to plant many trees around the homes and parks in Italian City 2. 

The purpose of this activity was to give students the chance to participate in an important initiative that was making their community a better and more beautiful place to learn and live. “It was a new experience for me, and I enjoyed it very much,” shared a student.
