Sarwaran Students Participate in Festival
Every year in Erbil for a period of seven days prior to Nawroz, a festival is held in Shandar Park. This year 5th grade students from Sarwaran International School participated in the festival with a drama performance and a song. The students’ performance depicted a tragic scene from Kurdish history but ended with scenes of hope. At the end children performed a song “I Have a Dream,” signifying their hopes for the future.
