Sarwaran Students Receive Certificates for Perfect Behavior
On December 13, 2016, students in grades 2 to 9 at Sarwaran International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, were rewarded for good behavior with certificates.
During lunch time, students with no infractions for the term were lined up before lunch to receive their certificates. The SMC, the Deputy SMC, and SLO® discipline prefects proudly distributed the certificates to the students. Afterwards the students and staff took pictures with the certificates to keep as a memory of this day.
The purpose behind these certificates was to reward students who were making the extra effort to behave well and not get any infractions. It also proved to be a good way to encourage other students to try harder in the next term. “Certificates motivate students to try harder and have fewer infractions,” said a teacher.
