Sarwaran Students Receive Term 1 Academic Medals
Students from all grades at Sarwaran International School, a SABIS® PPP school, received Term 1 Academic Medals on December 7, 2015 for achieving high marks on their academics. Responsible for organizing this event was the SABIS Student Life Organization®’s (SLO®) Academic Department.
After each term, students that attain a high average are rewarded with academic certificates for working hard. However for Term 1, prefects from the SLO®’s Academic Department prepared Academic Medals themselves, with some help from the Academic Quality Controller, and presented them to the high achievers.
Students who achieved a 90% or higher in all subjects, a 90% or more in algebra or geometry, and a 90% or higher in science received medals. The awards were distributed by the prefects.
Such an activity took place to honor students who have worked hard to achieve high marks. Also, having this type of event helps motivate the students throughout the school to do better academically.
