Sarwaran Students Visit Art Exhibition

On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, Grade 9 students in Sarwaran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, visited an art exhibition at the big gallery.

The students visited the You and I Community Cleanliness at Technical Institute exhibition at the big gallery. The exhibition featured many Hawler artists’ work. Students walked around the gallery admiring the art and even enjoyed the opportunity to speak with artists about their work and the meaning behind them.

The purpose of this activity was to show students art work and paintings by famous artists in real life, rather than just pictures in their books. “It was a nice experience for us,” shared a student.
