Sarwaran Students Visit Hiwa Institute for Deaf People
The Student Life Coordinator at Sarwaran International School (SIS) recently arranged a trip for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to the Hiwa Institute for Deaf People.
On Saturday, February 8, 2013, SIS students visited the institute’s English, math, Kurdish, and art classes. They distributed flowers and hung paintings. The visit also gave students the chance to learn sign language and play with the children.
Students enjoyed the trip and took home new-found knowledge.
