Sarwaran Students Visit Korek Mountain Resort

Grade 8 students in Sarwaran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, took a trip to Korek Mountain on January 27, 2018.

The students visited the Korek Mountain Resort on Mount Korek. They rode cable cars to reach the resort, which was a new experience for many. Once they arrived, the students played in the snow and had a picnic together.

The purpose of the activity was to give students a chance to spend time together off campus and more importantly in nature. “Thank you so much for this lovely picnic, it was the best picnic ever,” shared a student.
