SHADOW TEACHER^® CONFERENCE AT SARWARAN

On September 22, 2018, Shadow Teachers^® in grades 5 to 9 at Sarwaran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, attended a Shadow Teacher^® Conference at the school.

Shadow Teachers^® were invited to the school and spend the day learning more about their role as Shadow Teachers^®. The students were addressed by the SLO^® Head Prefect and the Head Prefect of the Academics department, who discussed how to teach, classroom management, and checking for understanding among students. Additionally, the SLC and AQC chimed in with advice for the Shadow Teachers^®. In the end, they all received badges and took a group picture together.

The purpose of this activity is to promote Shadow Teachers^® in their roles at the school and provide them with knowledge and skills they need to succeed. “It was a successful day and a great conference,” said a student.
