SLO® at Sarwaran Organizes an Art Gallery
On Thursday, January 18, 2018, the SABIS Student Life Organization® (SLO®) Activities Department at Sarwaran International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, organized an Art Gallery to showcase the work of students in KG1 to Grade 8.
During the day, a group of students sang the Kurdish National Anthem and afterwards, staff, students, and parents cut the ribbon to the Art Gallery. All attendees admired the paintings and crafts, which were made by the students and displayed at the gallery.
The purpose of this event was to encourage students to draw, color, and use papers to make crafts instead of buying them. “We enjoyed it a lot,” said a student.
