SLO^® Clubs visit Institute of Fine Arts

Prefects in the SABIS Student Life Organization^®’s (SLO^®) fine art clubs at Sarwaran International School, a SABIS^® PPP school, visited the Institute of Fine Arts on December 12, 2015.

The art, dance, and theatre club prefects spent their day exploring their different mediums with older students at the institute. The art club visited the painting and drawing department, sculpture department, as well as the ceramic department, where they had the chance to engage with the older students. The dance club visited the music department where their teachers played some of the instruments for them, and even had some prefects play the piano. The theatre club toured the drama department with a leader who explained about the activities the students participated in.

The trip to Institute of Fine Arts was very enlightening for the prefects who gained important technical information of the craft they are interested in. “We are lucky because we learned a lot of information at this young age,” a student said.
