Students at Sarwaran Make Special Gifts for Mother’s Day

Students in grades 1 to 8 at Sarwaran International School, a SABIS® PPP school, celebrated Mother’s Day with a variety of activities during breakfast and lunch breaks on March 15, 2016.

Break time events on Mother’s Day included coloring pages, cards, and balloons. During one activity, students were asked to color a special picture for Mothers’ Day that they would take home to their mothers. Another activity involved students making a large poster where they each wrote a special message to their mothers. Students also made cards from colored paper to give their mothers. As a last activity, balloons were handed out to students to write on.The purpose of this activity was to celebrate Mother’s Day and for students to remember how special and important mothers truly are. “I was really happy that day because I made a special card for my mother,” said a student.
